Our values
Hi, I am Cindy, founder of EdiBee. From the very start of my journey at EdiBee there were a few things that were very important to me. Firstly, with a background in taste (sensory) research, tasty food was a given - using our senses to make our food tastes better is something I have researched and applied a lot myself and I was keen to help others with this too. The other part of my research has been around healthy eating - with two young kids myself, providing practical solutions that help kids and where possible educate kids in a playful way to chose better foods is something that keeps coming back to me on my EdiBee journey and I try to incorporate it where I can. And hey, I know how difficult this can be!
From as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about the environment. Using better materials, re-using materials where possible and at the very least recycling where I can has become the backdrop for EdiBee. All our products have been created or sourced with longevity in mind. So, if you find your order in a recycled box, you now know why. And on that note, local deliveries are usually done by foot or bike, whilst for further deliveries we always try to use an environmental service (mostly Royal Mail Environment).
Finally, I love adding a touch of magic and creativity to things. Whether it is by adding a few fun things in the childrens' lunchboxes, setting the table nicely or having pretty accessories. I strongly believe that by making food more fun, it will be more tasty. More and more research is appearing to back this up too.
With the above combined, creating practical, food-safe, sustainable, but most of all, fun products for family kitchens is what EdiBee is all about. Our products are created for people who want to make a difference, the blogs we write are there to inspire and the materials we use are better for our planet.
